Alan Catello Grazioso is an award-winning non-fiction filmmaker, multimedia producer, and online content creator, recognized for his impactful work in educational media and digital storytelling. He graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, where a six-month co-op at NPR’s Washington, D.C. headquarters ignited his passion for media production. Alan went on to create original content for three PBS Kids television seriesZOOM, Fetch! with Ruff Ruffman, and Postcards from Buster—he helped the ZOOM win a 2006 Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Children’s Series. His work extends beyond television into online media, including Lives on the Line: The Human Cost of Chicken, an interactive web project funded by Oxfam America, which was recognized as a 2016 Webby Award Honoree. His digital storytelling has been featured by The Washington Post and AJ+, reaching global audiences.

In 2017, Alan was hired as a staff producer at Harvard University, first as a contractor at Harvard Business Publishing (HBP), where he oversaw multimedia production for Harvard ManageMentor—a learning platform for Fortune 500 companies—and then as a staff producer at Harvard Business School (HBS) where co-conceived the HBS Staff Stories podcast series, and co-created curriculum with HBS faculty for the School’s prestigious case-based MBA program. In early 2022, he accepted at position as Executive Producer of Multimedia at Harvard Radcliffe Institute (HRI) where in April 2023, his Radcliffe team was nominated for three Webby Awards, and his video work featuring Radcliffe Fellow Isabel Galleymore was spotlighted on Harvard.edu during Climate Change Action Week.

In September 2023, Alan oversaw the launch of Radcliffe’s first-ever podcast series, BornCurious, where he serves as executive producer and occasional guest host. The series, which features in-depth conversations with scholars, artists, and innovators, has more than 31,000 downloads across 30+ episodes, each averaging 40 minutes in length. Most recently, in September 2024, he helped launch Radcliffe Moments, an interactive (public and digital) multimedia exhibit featuring nine full-size portrait kiosks photographed across three countries, complete with immersive audio and video storytelling.

Alan’s work has contributed to the success of numerous high-profile projects, earning many honors Daytime Emmy Awards, Webby Awards, and Telly Awards. His expertise in on-line learning, youth-focused content, digital storytelling and multimedia production continues to shape how audiences engage with educational media, cultural, and social impact storytelling.
